Heart Above Jacó

Storm veins burn across the sea,
Waves strike hard below the glow.
A heart ignites inside the spree,
Salt winds rake the coast of Jacó.

Black sand swallows copper rain,
White surf claws the fractured shore.
Thunder pounds like blood in vein,
Clouds convulse above the roar.

Gulls cut low through molten air,
Sea foam twists like broken lace.
The storm builds muscle everywhere,
Heat and shadow share one face.

A crimson chamber floods the sky,
Its pulse rolls deep through wave and mist.
The ocean answers with a cry,
Then seals the sound inside its fist.

No preacher speaks like weather speaks,
No scar burns brighter from afar.
The sky reveals what spirit seeks:
A wounded, beating, feral star.

Jacó breathes beneath the flame,
The tide keeps time beside the sea.
That storm-born heart still calls my name,
And leaves its final beat in me.
