Wild & Free

Some souls reject each measured chain,
They race where salt and hoofbeats meet.
The sea pulls hard against the rein,
Yet calm still rises from their feet.

They chase no throne, defend no claim,
Wide tides erase each rigid line.
The surf repeats each hidden name,
While distant gulls through blue air climb.

Their horses breathe with steady grace,
Dark sand reflects the midday blaze.
Wave folds silver through the space,
Stride cuts clean through summer haze.

No crowded wall could hold them long,
No clock could still their restless fire.
Shore keeps time through foam and song,
And draws the spirit ever higher.

They wear the wind like woven skin,
They trust the pull of open land.
The world grows vast and fierce within,
As oceans cool each weathered hand.

Ride on beyond the breaking foam,
Past borders others fear to see.
The heart alone decides its home.
Ride hard. Stay wild. Stay free.
